Sunset View Club is a small development situated close to a magnificent golf complex on the southern tip of Tenerife, where you can enjoy the sunshine year -round. From the site, there are spectacular views of Mount Teide and the sea. The resort has a swimming pool, children's pool and pool bar/snack bar/restaurant. Close by, facilities include tennis and squash courts, windsurfing, and scuba diving. Golf is available on the championship course and can be booked prior to arrival to avoid disappointment. A car is advisable to enjoy the area.

DIRECTIONS TO SUNET VIEW CLUB
BY AIR: Nearest Airport: Reina Sofia- 10km. BY ROAD: Follow the TF1 sign for Los Cristianos. Take the first exit (62). Follow the signs for Los Abrigos, Las Galletas, NOT San Miguel. Turn right at the roundabout and across at the next, following signs for TF65 (El Guincho, Los Abrigos). Follow signs for Golf del Sur (on right). Go across the roundabout into Golf del Sur. Bear right following the road round, passing Sand Club on the right. At the sign for Sunset View, turn right and right again. The resort is on the right, opposite a row of bars and restaurants. The reception is through the car park. There is an airport in the North of the island - Los Rodeos - 70km.

FURTHER INFORMATION
Apartments comprise 1 bed units for 4 with double bed and double sofa bed, 2 bed units for 6 with a double bed, double sofa bed and twin beds. All have a partial kitchen with ceramic hob, toaster, microwave, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV and mini stereo. Towels and linen are changed once a week. Units are accessed by stairs. No pets allowed. There is a refundable deposit required on arrival, for which credit cards are accepted. A jacket must be worn in the clubhouse. A handicap certificate is required to play golf. To avoid disappointment, it is advisable to book golf prior to departure on tel. 0034 922738170. Cots may be requested in advance from reception. The resort is located in a quiet area away from the buzzing night life of Playa de las Americas. As it is close to the airport, at times it may be noisy. Pool towels are available for rental from reception.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY OF UNIT MUST BE ADHERED TO. RESORT WILL NOT UPGRADE UNIT SIZE UPON ARRIVAL.

Stayed at Sunset View November 2006, had a fantastic time. Staff very helpful and very friendly and can't do enough to help. Lovely apartments in a fantastic location. Rating 8/10

Sunset View Resort is in the Golf del Sur which is a very clean and fairly quiet area. Across the road from the Resort is the San Blas Centre, which has Shops, a Bank with ATM, Doctors, a Church, Bars and Restuarants (Spanish, Chinese, Italian, Indian and British) There are 2 squares in the centre are both are quite lively with evening entertainment. But if you are looking for Clubs and Discos this is not the place.

Sunset View Resort has pool, jacuzzi and kid's pool. There is a Lifeguard on duty until 6pm. The pool, gardens and grounds were kept spotlessly clean. Our apartment was very clean and had all we required from sat.TV (5 Brit. channels) to insect spray. It was cleaned daily (exc. Sun) by friendly staff. Bedding was changed mid-week.

There was an on site restaurant, run by partners Colin & Marc. It serves food all day. Marc does the cooking whilst Colin entertains the diners, with his cabaret act.

In the small reception area there is internet access (1 euro-15 mins) The 3 reception staff were very helpful and made us feel very welcome, they will e organise trips and airport pick-up. There was Manager's welcome meeting on Sat. morning, where the Manager gave us resort info. Colin gave us restaurant info. and a holiday rep. gave us trip details.

We came to this resort for rest and relaxation and this is what we got. The only sounds we heard was the gardener and "Colin singing." Sunset View resort is a "Little Gem" very professionally managed by Sunterra and I would certainly recommend it. It "does what it says on the tin." Rating 10/10
